In the heart of Texas, we’re no strangers to hard work. We believe in sweat equity, in building things from the ground up, and in handing the next generation the tools to succeed — literally.

That’s why we started Texas Construction School.

We saw a gap growing fast — not just in the labor market, but in opportunity. Over the last decade, more and more young people have been steered away from trade careers. Meanwhile, the construction industry is desperate for workers. The stats don’t lie: by 2026, the United States will need over half a million skilled construction workers just to keep up with demand.

But where’s the pipeline? Where’s the education? Where are the programs that show a 17-year-old how to swing a hammer, read a tape, or frame a wall?

That’s the void we’re filling.

🔨 Where It Started

This isn’t some top-down initiative. It’s a grassroots effort — led by real people with real experience in the trades. Our founding team, made up of Jesse, Joe and Erica, didn’t come from boardrooms. They came from job sites, small business ownership, and years of navigating blue-collar America.

What we all shared was the belief that construction changes lives. It builds confidence. It teaches discipline. And it offers a solid path forward for those who may not feel at home in a traditional classroom.

So we asked a few key questions:

  • What if kids could get hands-on exposure to the trades… for free?

  • What if we made it accessible — no tuition, no red tape?

  • What if our workshops were short, intense, and unforgettable?

That’s how Texas Construction School was born — out of necessity, and built on heart.

🔧 Where It’s Headed

Right now, we’re laying the foundation. And no, we haven’t hosted our first workshop yet — but we’ve been busy:

  • Forming partnerships with local schools and organizations

  • Collecting tools and safety gear for students

  • Designing free construction training modules that are equal parts practical and inspiring

  • Assembling a team of mentors who are ready to teach the next generation what it means to work with their hands — and take pride in it

Our mission is to train, inspire, and build — and not just with tools. We’re building self-esteem, purpose, and momentum for those who need it most.

🤝 How You Can Help

If you’re reading this, chances are you care about where this industry is heading. Maybe you’ve worked in the trades. Maybe you’ve hired skilled labor and struggled to find it. Maybe you’re just someone who believes young people deserve more than a college-or-nothing mentality.

Here’s how to support what we’re building:

  • Buy from our merch shop — 100% of proceeds go to tools, training, and workshop costs

  • Partner with us — Schools, CTE programs, community leaders, let’s work together

  • Spread the word — Share our mission, tag us, talk to your friends in the field

You don’t have to be on a job site to be part of the movement. You just have to care.

Texas Construction School is more than a program — it’s a commitment to future builders, creators, and tradespeople. This is the start of something big. And it’s only going to grow from here.

So stay tuned, gear up, and join the crew.

We’re just getting started.
